This was my first experience of hospital since my Tonsils came out in 1940. Treated with the utmost respect and care from Ambulance arrival throughout my 4 + days stay. I was amazed and delighted with the wide ethnic mix of staff both nursing and domestic which reminded me of my Naval days in the Far East. I was particularly impressed with the team who provided me with regular hot drinks with a smile and always impeccably turned out. Pity the voluntary trolley service does not operate over the weekend when I suspect the number of patients does not diminish.
