Recently started getting severe abdominal pains. Came home from holiday in agony Sunday 18th, got dropped off straight to hospital. Checked in and waited no more than 5 minutes to be called though, triarg nurses took bloods and report, then doctor asked questions, sent straight for ct scan, found to have kidney stone and infection. Admitted, waited for a bed at scunthorpe, transfered, talked to surgeon, prept four surgery, stent inserted ,overnight stay, talked to surgeon again about returning in two weeks to zap stone.
Excellent care and professional attitude by all.
The cear I received in resus and b zone was outstanding couldn't prase them enough. However I was transferred to B2 were I spent the next two days without a doctor and no treatment as the doctor didn't prescribe any medication so I got worse until I finally signed myself out of the hospital for my own safety. I returned Sunday night to AxE and recipient every thing I needed..your AxE department is excellent.
