My first labour experience was very negative with a few members of staff that I feel were not caring and compassionate. So going to have my second child I was very worried I would have the same. However I was placed on a different ward and I could not fault one member of staff on blueberry ward. Every single person I met there was so lovely and helpful and put me at ease. They were very supportive with any questions I had and supported me with breastfeeding. The blueberry team gave me the most positive birth experience I could of asked for and I am so grateful they were part of my care.
