I was told to be on a low fat diet would be useful if menu had 'L' against food indicating low fat.
Could not complain about food excellent.
The staff were very polite and caring. A credit to NHS.
Don't loose them!
Very helpful, explained everything in detail, left feeling reassured. No need to improve anything.
S/N Laura Remer excellent, good and Sarah the night nurse.
Nursing staff responded to my pain and care needs and requests. The medical staff did not treat me as an individual . One introduced themselves but had no bedside manner or bothered to check on my condition even though I had been in constant pain overnight, in retention until nurses intervened was less than 24 hr post op. The 2nd did not introduce herself and not cared about having to complete my discharge paper work.
Staff were friendly and helpful. No pressure to leave or stay.
- Sean, Laura and Maria are outstanding. They work hard, demonstrate exemplary professional standards, and are sensitive and responsive to the needs of their patients. Sean, particularly, built excellent rapport on the night shifts.
- I thought the food service was good and well organised.
The consultants were friendly and engaging. I was particularly impressed to get help from a junior doctor at relatively short notice on Saturday night.
- I think that the decor is a bit dull, especially in areas where there is no natural day light, could be brighter, more cheerful.
All staff were most kind and caring, polite and helpful. I was given refreshments which were most appreciated.
It was a good stay, but nurses banging the metal bins, slamming doors was annoying when trying to sleep.
Care was perfect, nothing to improve.
