After my arrival at A and E, I was taken to the 'Acute care unit' ward because there were not beds available on the cardiac ward.
On the acute care ward I was not reassured that I was receiving the correct treatment for my condition (AF) I was not put on a heart monitor until I queried the situation. I request painkillers for a headache and did not receive them until I asked.
Constant care and attention given with always a smile and reassurance and the food has been improved beyond all expectation.
The staff were very caring and friendly explained every thing so well. I was not worried. Doctors were wonderful too.
The only thing I think could be improval is the bath and toilet situation on the mixed cordiac wards. There should be a ladies bathroom only on mixed wards.
Not enough vegetarian main meal options.
Everything was good.
Poor orthotics service.
Very kind pleasant nurses who made me feel very comfortable during my time here.
Had to wait 3 days from beening seen to actually having the operation wasn't given any pain killers in that time to take home.
However after having the operation the doctors and nurses were very kind and helpfull and have been given pills to ease the pain. Been looked after very well. Been given pills to.
No fault with anything. Excellent care
Calm atmosphere, friendly personable staff.
Very caring attitude and concern for pain, and well being.
Consultants could perhaps understand that as patients we do not have there knowledge and understanding. They sometimes pass by in a blur, leaving the patient confused.
Was only on ward for 1/2 day but the staff I met were very pleasant and Manage my care to a high standard. I cannot comment on any improvements.
