My 88 year old mother is in woodman cote ward (she has dementia) She has been here for over 2 weeks. I spoke with her specialist on Monday, she passed my mobile no. onto the social worker who was going to call me the next day-nothing inquired on Tuesday to be told she had only just got the referral (it would be tomorrow) on Wednesday I chosen it up again, to be told at 3:30 pm that it was the social worker day off!! So now I have to wait until Thursday. I live in Australia and due to fly back next week! There does not seem to be any communication between your staff.(I could go on and on!
