As honest as I can be such a vital service for the community with such helpful kind compassionate staff!

It would be nice for service to be at RHH again and much more strongly connected to the nhs

For the past few weeks I have been calling but to no avail. Voicemail box was full so unable to leave a voicemail for a call back and the online booking system hasn’t been working. As someone who works away from Dudley and have a busy work schedule all over Staffordshire, it has been hard for me to go to a walk in to book an appointment, in which by chance I finished earlier and made it back in time. It is highly frustrating that this barrier has push plans on family planning, where it could’ve been overcome if the phone lines or online booking system worked. The reception staff I saw today were great, but it’s frustrating that I have been trying to organise an appointment for a procedure that can only be done through and appointment.

Phone lines to be answered, voicemail box to be monitored and online booking system to work. All of these are barriers for patients to access and ask for help, where it could already be an awkward or the individual could be anxious already.

the absolute best experience i’ve ever had. made the entire experience feel complete calm and relaxed. the staff new exactly how to calm me down and stop my nerves and help me get through the treatment. will 100% be recommending and going again in the future. thank you!!

i waited 3 months for an appointment, had to take 1/2 days holiday to accommodate the appointment time, then was rang 2 hours b4 my appointment to say they had to cancel it. lafy on the phone was very nice and apologetic but i was only offered a morning appointment - the only one available at all for the following week, not a option as i don't work local and it would have meant taking a days holiday no other options given or apart from an appointment x amount of weeks later as there is nothing available until July. no back up plan, no alternative option given, deeply disappointed as the whole session was cancelled not just mine due to an issue with the site but nurses were available so it would have been an option to see if another room or clinic was available and divert people with the available nurses or at least get an additional session made available for next week at the time.

Really professional and reassuring

I attended to have the mirena coil removed and my own GP were unable to get me in after having ongoing issues since having it fitted for 5 months. Brook were really understanding and were able to get me in 2 months before I could get seen at my own GP. I arrived and was see quickly and the coil was out with the blink of an eye. The nurse I saw was fantastic and understood why I was having it removed.

Nothing better could have been done. It was a fantastic service all round
