You cannot contact the surgery directly, you have to go through a centralised system which can take upwards of a minute for someone to respond. To request an appointment unless you have an existing problem you are told to complete a triage form and bearing upon what answers you have put is whether to get a face tio face appoinyment. Not a good system

It is not possible to get an appointment over the phone anymore at this surgery, a system check online form has to be filled in at the end of which there is an option to chose a face to face appointment. This is a waste of time and many of the questions either don’t apply or don’t include appropriate options for a meaningful response

I have been in pain for a week with my back and after visiting an Osteopath today I rang my doctors because (A l couldn’t get a renewed prescription because it was not on my repeats) and (B) I needed an opinion and pain killers for my back. I rang about 2pm and was given an appointment for 4.45pm. I was very much taken aback but very pleased. I attended and met a Doctor who I’ve never met before and whose name I do not know, but he was very helpful, listened to my problems and put my mind at rest with his diagnosis. He gave me a prescription which I will collect tomorrow from my Pharmacy. I just want to say Thank You for a great service. I’m the 1st to complain when things aren’t right but will always give praise when praise is due.THANK YOU.
