Every single person - receptionists nurse, doctors, advice, very good friendly felt at ease, but forwarding, hospials,, etc had to keep asking, if gone through yet!! Don't no who was responseable for delays, but doctors all, over, rushed, overworked, this could so easily done. Much better in everway, than, experianced in Nottm. Just told truth, hope this can help in some small way. Not complaining

The new sit and wait appointment system is an absolute joke. I ended up waiting 2 hrs 15 minutes to see the doctor for five minutes! I used to recommend this surgery as I felt like your needs were met and they were helpful. This unfortunately is no longer the case and most of the time you feel like you're being a nuisance, wasting their time and when you are asked by the doctor "what do you think is wrong with you", well surely that's the reason I've gone to the doctors in the first place for them to tell me, not the other way around!!
The one thing that constantly lets down this otherwise very good practice is the telephone answering service. It is like three different voices - all offering 'options' (one message being repeated).
All this takes time. The other day I was holding on for 10 minutes - only then to be cut off. When one if feeling unwell this is the last thing needed.
Do your lovely professional, receptionists justice and get an answer phone that reflects them!
New open surgery is a very good idea.
I was seen by a Dr quicker than waiting on the phone.
