Doctor listened to my concerns. He also called me the other day when scheduled which was helpful. I like getting test message reminders. These are very useful.

As a fellow health care professional - a female Dental Surgeon, I was extremely insulted by Dr Wakely's attitude towards myself and my daughter. My son was the one requiring treatment yet he pretended to take my daughters temperature with a forehead reader ( which in itself is archaic) and said ' I am just checking your brains, but of course, you don't have any, what was I thinking, you're a girl'. To which I said excuse me, and was told ' just sit down Mum, I'm only having a laugh'. I would never dream of speaking to my patients this way and I certainly take offence at the suggestion that a girl is in anyway inferior to a boy. Absolutely inappropriate manner, unnecessary to even comment to something irrelevant to what we had attended for. His manner was condescending and my opinion was shoved aside. For some reason alot of the very good Drs leave this practice ( Irwin, Valsalla) and are replaced with people of seriously questionable manner. I would request not to ever see this gentleman again and would recommend others to do the same. Practice management need to be keeping this Dr in check and maybe some professional CPD in the ethical treatment of patients would not go amiss.

I am presently staying at my cousin's house in Top tree and needed attention to an injury caused from a fall I had prior to the visit. The staff were wonderful and very helpful for which I thank them.

Dr Thompson is an excellent doctor my husband and myself never have to wait for an appointment and all of the staff cannot do enough for us.
