These past years when having to use the health facilities, I have been most pleased with the services and the way they are offered.
The new electronic system did take a little time to get used to but is quicker, and does seem to work ok.
This is an excellent practice with everything working in good order and a nice attitude from all concerned.
If I had to make a criticism it would be that you sometimes have to wait to get an early appointment with your GP but its worth the wait.
I have always had help and advice from all members of the surgery when required. Occasionally have to wait for an appointment but generally, when urgent, see a doctor or nurse the same day. I require regular blood checks as I take Warfarin, and find the staff and nurses warm and friendly.
I have been a patient at this surgery for 44 years and whilst in the last 4 years it has becomes increasingly difficult for an appointment or for a general query i do not believe that this is in anyway a reflection on the practice, i believe that due to the high demand for houses within the Witham location that this has put a horrific impact on such services like the healthcare that has always been provided by 4 practices for numerous people that have increased by 67% in the last 4 years. The receptionists have an increasing difficult task sifting the timewasters and the genuine cases that utilise this service. Hats off to anyone that can deal with the abuse they have to deal with on a daily basis and not scream at the top of their lungs. Well done ladies.
Lovely surgery and a great team that go with it.
