I think that it is extremely difficult to reach the surgery by telephone (and i know i am not the only patient with this opinion) when i eventually get through to the surgery i have never recieved an apointment for the same day or the next (unless stated an emergency). would it not be possible to have a website that appointments can be booked under as an option?
I have also waited on a few occasions for over an hour to see a doctor and with babies and young children to amuse with nothing other that a few torn books to look at this can be extremely frustrating.
At busy times it is very difficult to hear your name being called over the tannoy. I think this system needs to be updated.
