I was almost in tears in the waiting room, full of anxiety about the upcoming appointment. As soon as I walked in, Professor Winters calmed my nerves and made me feel like, whatever the outcome, I would be really well looked after. Professor Winters really listened, understood my anxieties and then went on to explain so clearly every step that needed to be taken. She gave me really useful information to help me make informed decisions,. She brought humour into the room to lighten the mood and just made me feel so much better immediately. I am hugely grateful to Professor Winters!
