We have had a very positive experience with both Professor Daubeney and his wonderful Practice Manager Sophie. Sophie has to be the most friendly, efficient and well organised manager ever, and she is an absolute delight to deal with. Professor Daubeney has been kind, calm and informative and we have felt very well looked after by both throughout the process. Many thanks!

Excellent manner with patient and mother. Well chosen words in relation to eating disorder that encouraged our daughter to take action to recover. Useful written reports in follow up, with detail explain the medical situation and what was needed for recovery. Kind, patient and professional.

He has been very thorough in his investigations. He listened to symptoms and was also empathetic to the impact on everyday life. He was approachable and knowledgeable. I also have to say Sophie O’Hehir, his practice manager has been outstanding. She has been our main point of contact and she has been very efficient, helpful, kind, friendly, informative. Over the years I have dealt with many practice managers / PA’s and Sophie is easily one of the best and nicest ones I have dealt with. She has been really great - I can’t praise her highly enough. Thank you Sophie. I am the patients mother.

We feel extremely fortunate to have had both our children, each with similar congenital heart problems, under the outstanding care of Professor Daubeney over the last ten years. He has guided us through difficult and emotional times, including open heart surgery for both children, making every necessary step of the way so much easier through his reassuring and calm manner. Due to his professionalism, extensive knowledge and obvious dedication to each patient’s welfare, we have trusted in his advice entirely and continue to do so. Furthermore, we were extremely impressed by the excellent communication between Professor Daubeney and each member of the close knit team that was involved in our children’s time in hospital. During this time, as well as in the run up to and after the surgeries, Professor Daubeney’s gentle approach when engaging with the children has also made them feel positive about ‘going to the doctor’. In addition, we feel that it has been very easy to communicate with Professor Daubeney in between appointments when there have been urgent issues.
