Professor Chapman-Sheath is a very approachable and competent doctor. My surgery went well and prompt follow up appointments were very helpful. I would be happy to recommend him.
Thank you for your excellent feedback and for taking the time to leave me a review
What a lovely consultant, he made me feel at ease and explained what and why I needed the knee replacement.
I felt that any time I could contact him if I had a problem, having said that I am 7 weeks on from my replacement, and apart from some expected pain I have followed instruction and I am walking with very little aid.
I have just had my first outpatient appointment where the encouragement from him was very positive he wrote a letter to me telling me how delighted he was , I don't have to see him for 6 months.
Many thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback and so wonderful that are making such a rapid and full recovery Regards as ever
From 1st consultation until the 7 week post op consultation I felt totally at ease with professor chapman and felt he explained everything in a easy to understand way
At 8 weeks post op I’m very pleased with my new knee and things continue to improve day by day
I’m left with a very neat scar just make sure you do all the physio to compliment his hard work
Thank you for your skilled work and a great outcome
Delighted to hear that you are making such a speedy recovery and are so happy with your new knee Thank you for taking the time to give us your useful feedback Kind regards
Philip listened hard, investigated thoroughly and offered sound and appropriate advice. I’m so pleased I took his recommendations. My life has transitioned back to normal in a surprisingly short term as a result of the TKR.
The only feedback other than profound appreciation is in respect of the care App ..a great idea… just needs reduced options
..and pain Mgt in the first 3 days following the operation. As I was discharged the day after the operation and without appropriate pain relief, I was able to contact Philip and brilliantly he was able to prescribe.
In regards to the Physio…only the hydro-therapy was invaluable.
Thank you so much for leaving us some feedback on your treatment and rehab - we aim to continually improve the service we offer and your feedback will be used to help shapes better experience for those who follow Many thanks again and delighted that you have made such a speedy and full recovery to normal activity and function
Initial consultation and examination were extremely thorough, and everything was explained clearly and in depth. Professor Chapman-Sheath is always cheerful and positive which gives confidence.
Procedure went very well and although I was only at the Nuffield for 3 days the aftercare was very good.
The physiotherapy was exemplary and really helped me. Six weeks on I have had my first consultation post op and I feel I am well on the way to recovery.
I think the key is a good surgeon who I feel I was very lucky to find and sticking to the exercises regularly. I’m looking forward to having the other knee done!
Thank you to all who looked after me.
Thank you for the feedback on your journey through the surgery at the Wessex Nuffield Hospital - you are making good progress and we are delighted that you are recovering well and quickly Kind regards Prof PCS
