Mr Gadikoppula was extremely caring and considerate. He went above and beyond to make things happen quickly, came to see me before a small procedure he wasn't doing to check all was and was really helpful throughout. He is excellent at communicating and quickly identified the cause of something other Doctors and Consultants had disregarded, sending follow up guidance on how to manage the condition. I would highly recommend him.

My shoulder surgery has been a great success and I am enormously thankful. It is now a year since the operation and I virtually have full movement of my shoulder. Furthermore I no longer have any pain, though I have to say for at least six weeks after the surgery it was extremely painful and sleeping at night was very difficult. It would have been helpful if it had been explained to me, that the recovery period in terms of the loss of the pain and regaining more and more movement, would have taken much longer time than I had expected. I can only advise anyone having the surgery to be more patient than I was, in waiting for full recovery... and to work really hard at all the exercises in order to build up and strengthen the muscles in the arm. It would also have been helpful had Mr Gadikoppula explained to me that recovery would not be complete for at least 6 months to a year. Nevertheless I am totally delighted with the result and I am hugely grateful for his expertise and surgery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my 7 month consultation following knee replacement surgery was held over the telephone rather than at BMI The Kings Oak Hospital. Mr Gadikoppula has arranged that we will meet after the current restrictions are eased, to assess the condition of the replaced knee and to arrange for the replacement of the other knee. I was disappointed not to have met with Mr Gadikoppula but under the circumstances I am very satisfied with the progress of my recovery and with the aftercare that is being provided to me. I am looking forward to having the left knee replaced as that is starting to give me trouble.
