Share review of Mr Simon Hobbs
6cm Aneurism on Aorta, spotted accidentally during a PET scan for Cancer in throat area and then treated very quickly by Mr Hobbs and his Team. I was fortunate enough to have an epidural because I was unusually fit and the whole operation and recovery was exactly as predicted.
The stent insertion has been entirely successful and, relatively painless. So 6 weeks later I've played golf twice and my recovery is at a stage where my original cancer scare can be dealt with. I even had a 'phone call from Mr. Hobbs , late one evening and early during my treatment. This was most useful in building my confidence. It was only to re-arrange an appointment but saved a lot of my time. I felt it was well beyond the care I might have expected as an NHS patient well into his 80s.
Thanks to the Team at New Cross for their Professionalism and the care and friendliness.
