I saw Mr Kalkur at the Spire Wellesley for my initial consultation. I had to attend on my own due to COVID restrictions and was very nervous and anxious. First impressions of Mr Kalkur was his excellence in listening to my problems and explaining to me what is happening to me every month. He even took the time to draw a diagram to help me understand what is occurring monthly. He examined me making sure that there was a chaperone present. As soon as he pressed on my tummy he knew exactly what the cause of my problem was and gave me a diagnosis straightaway. He also did a endometrial biopsy as I explained to him that I had lost my Mum due to cervical cancer but he was so understanding and comforting. He gave me a few options to consider that he thought will help and said he would give me some time to think about what I wanted to do and to talk to my husband. I have since had my follow-up appointment with Mr Kalkur and have now decided to have the surgery that he has recommended so just have to hope that my medical provider will fund this locally so that he can carry this procedure out for me.
