I was rushed into A. & E. on the 4th April 2024 with many things wrong and was fortunate to be placed in the care of Mr Trickett and the Trauma Team of Heath Hospital. Mr Trickett the consultant of hand problems in Trauma Clinic came into the hospital on Saturday his day off to perform an emergency operation on my hand. My hand was infected and extremely swollen. I had sepsis. I was told that my life was in danger and I truly believe that Mr Trickett and his team saved my life. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his kindness and dedication for the work he does which also reflects in all of his team. The team in Trauma Clinic are some of the kindest, dedicated staff who really care about their patients. Thank you for being there when I needed you the most.
