I had a very positive outcome from Dr masood . After having a laparoscopic myomectomy and treatment of endometriosis. I have recovered very well and my periods have been way much better . I am so grateful he did the procedure.

Overall I had a very positive experience with Dr Masood. Smooth and quick process from consultation to surgery, good communication throughout especially with the PA Faye Scott. I would definitely feel comfortable choosing to be in Dr Masood’s care again shall I need it in the future.

I made an appointment to see Mr Masood for a second opinion as my periods were out of control. Having tried everything to control the bleeding and fibroids over many years, and having multiple surgeries the last option was to have a hysterectomy. My case was a complicated one due to having scar tissues from for my previous surgeries but Mr Masood understood my situation and explained every detail of the type of hysterectomy I would be having clearly, including which HRT I would be on after the surgery. He also explained that I would have another surgeon, Mr Ahmed to separate the adhesions that have been formed from my previous surgeries. I left my appointment feeling positive with the information Mr Masood gave me and felt that I am in safe hands with Mr Masood. My laparoscopic hysterectomy went well and Mr Masood and Mr Ahmed took good care of me. I am recovering well and I feel like I finally have my life back. I also wanted to mention Mr Masood’s secretary Faye Scott. She is lovely and took control of situations that came up to make sure everything went to plan. I am so grateful that Mr Masood done my hysterectomy.

Mr Masood has been fantastic. I was receiving awful care via the NHS and decided to go privately, my worries have now been sorted. Mr Masood carried out a hysteroscopy and it went really well. He is great at explaining everything and giving good advice. Really pleased and felt very heard.

I was referred to gynaecology from oncology as I was experiencing heavy bleeds on HRT medication. Mr Masood checked the position of my mirena coil and realised it was not in the correct position as it had become lodged under a fibroid, and explained he could attempt to move it but the procedure may be painful. He was incredibly gentle and I did not experience any pain whilst he did this or when he took a biopsy. I remarked upon how gentle the procedure was and the accompanying nurse said that was what other patients had said earlier that day. Since then I have had further follow up consultations with Mr Masood the most recent being today (17.10.23). Although the clinic was overrunning by about an hour I did not mind waiting as I realised this meant that Mr Massod was not rushing other patients but giving them the time needed for an effective consultation. Mr Masood listened intently to me, and explained that as I reported that the bleeds had stopped it meant the coil was working as it should and releasing the correct amount of progesterone. I was concerned what would happen when the coil came to the end of its licensed term and he said he would keep me on annual review which really reassured me as I am aged over 65 but was keen to remain on HRT as I have a family history of osteoporosis. I thoroughly recommend Mr Masood as being respectful, professional, empathetic and I am so relieved that I am going to remain under his care.
