I was referred to Mr Alam by my GP after years of failed attempts with physios to try and diagnose and correct why i would get serious pain in my knees causing them to give way. The biggest problem it seems was they could not get the pain to replicate whilst in their presence (also feel they were not always listening to me). Within 5 minutes of seeing Mr Alam, he had listened and was able to get the pain to occur and reveal its precise location. This was followed by a scan to verify his diagnoses followed by a quick operation on the worse knee. It has been 6 months now since the operation, have had no further pain or giving way in this knee. Will happily be going in soon to have the other knee operated on.
