I found Mr Dodds to be approachable, professional, informative and confident at all times I met with him both pre and post operatively. I felt reassured and well informed with regards to both the surgical procedures that I required and the reasons for the need for them to be carried out. He explained every step and in a way that was clear and understandable, giving time for any questions or clarification. All have all led to a positive and good outcome.

In my opinion Mr Dodd is everything a medical professional should aspire to be. At my initial consultation any nerves were reassured by his caring and compassionate approach. Pre and post surgery all procedures were fully explained to me.I have complete trust and confidence in this surgeon, I now have a far better quality of life thanks to him. The team he has around also live up to his excellent standards.

A highly recommended knee surgeon in every respect! I first met Laurie Dodd 4 years ago with my son who had very successful knee surgery which enabled him to resume his active life and love of sports, competing at a high level. When I was referred to see Mr Dodd myself for a knee injury sustained this year, I knew I was in safe hands. He was equally caring and professional, listened attentively and answered all questions patiently. Whilst I chose to focus on a rehab programme, rather than have surgery, I valued enormously the reassurance from Mr Dodd that the option to consider surgery would still be open to me in my follow up appointment, or if ever I had future knee problems. I am delighted that I now have the confidence to pursue activities without worrying about my knee. Thank you!

It is now a full year since I had my knee replacement carried out by Mr Dodd. I have seen him for various check ups on my knee during the year. I attended the hospital as arranged yesterday for my yearly review. I was very pleased to hear those words “No Need For Me To See You Again Everything Is Fine”. I have thanked Mr Dodd for his professional way he treated me,kind,considerate and attentive in our conversation. I can now get on and enjoy my life as normal. Laurie Dodd is a true professional. An excellent surgeon. He is kind, considerate, engaging, and had the great skill to make me feel extremely confident in his work. During consolation he spoke to me as an equal, listened to my concerns , offered guidance and solutions, stated what I was to expect from surgery. I had both knees replaced within four months of each other. Both have been really successful. I would thoroughly recommend this surgeon. In my mind, he is the best!
