Reviews
2022 was a horrible year - I had treatment for cancer & the chemotherapy set off a heart problem - then I fell & dislocated my shoulder wrecking the rotator cuff muscles. This meant my right arm was virtually immobile & useless. Thankfully the cancer treatment worked but my life was still extremely restricted.
I first saw Mr. Phadnis in December & he was delightful. He gave a very clear explanation about what he could do & gave me total confidence that he could help.
I had a total reverse should replacement operation in March & the result has been fantastic. I now have almost full movement in my arm (I was told that complete recovery was not possible because the rotator cuff could not be repaired). I can drive, garden, play table tennis & have been on holiday by myself.
He has given me my life back - thank you so much.
Mr Phadnis delivered excellent care throughout my time under his care.
Initial diagnosis and explanation were very good (acute Rotator cuff tear) and the surgical repair itself has been fantastic, with my shoulder joint back to 80% strength after 3/4 months.
The surgery was slightly more complex than initially planned, but Mr Phadnis dealt with this as well and gave me a clear explanation (and photos) of the work he carried out afterwards. The ongoing care and follow up (Post Op) has also been very good
The concurrent physiotherapy (recommended through Mr Phadnis) has also helped to stretch and strengthen my shoulder and this is ongoing.
Thoroughly recommend Mr Phadnis for his care and clinical abilities.
Mr Phadnis was totally professional and thorough in all aspects of care and treatment he provided to me.
He is friendly and approachable with equal emphasis on listening to my health issues and providing information to me as the patient.
I had a complex elbow reconstruction surgery through which his expertise has been greatly beneficial to me.
I fractured my elbow in December, 2022 Mr. Phadnis performed the operation just over 2 weeks later. Mr. Phadnis explained what the risks might be after the operation. I am now playing tennis, thank you so much for a superb operation .
At the follow up 2 weeks after the operation another consultant guided me on doing my own physiotherapy. I felt this was very important advice when I was told there would be no NHS physiotherapy available. Therefore it was totally up to me!!
thanks to all the team. Mrs H.
I found Joideep remarkable in his ability to explain everything easily in terms of both underlying problem, specific solution and the time needed for recovery. It was an absolute pleasure to be treated by someone who is highly knowledgeable and at the same time have a great way with people. All of this meant that i understood fully the need to follow the physiotherapy protocol provided and has meant that my recovery is progressing really well.
