Had a frozen shoulder....needed an operation. As it turned out it was a little more than that. However 6 weeks later and movement a lot better, scars virtually gone, and well on way to recovery. Hope to be playing golf again in a month or so.....

Just had my left shoulder Rotator cuff repaired after Mr Polyzois fixed my right one last year. Both procedures went extremely well, Mr Polyzois knew exactly what was up, confirmed with an MRI and operated to repair the tears and remove some arthritis in my shoulders as a bonus. I was well informed during both procedures, knew what to expect and all went exactly as he predicted I have full use of my right shoulder again, and although its only 3 weeks since the repair on my left, I can already tell its healing faster and more mobile than the last one, expecting a full recovery I would use Mr Polyzois again without any hesitation (Hopefully I won't need to) and would recommend him to anyone Stephen

This was my first experience of any sort of operation and the whole thing went very well. Mr Polyzois is everything you could want in a consultant - reassuring, informative, unhurried, assured. And seems to have done a sterling job of mending my clavicle. Many thanks.

I have had total replacements on both my shoulders with great success from consultation, through to surgery & aftercare. The 2nd one just 10 weeks ago. Mr Polyzois was completely clear about what was wrong, what he could do, how it would be done, honest but positive about outcomes of such surgery & his confident & personable manner made me feel special & that I wasn’t just another patient. The Pain I had before the surgeries was extreme & now in such a short time, I am pain-free, thanks to Mr Polyzois. I feel genuinely blessed that I was placed in his care & I only hope that in the future if I need any other surgery that they are as wonderful as Mr Polyzois.

Procedure For Broken Shoulder: Reconstruction and of the ACJ with a LARS Ligament Date: 15th May 2018 I broke my elbow and shoulder during a bicycle accident on 31st Jan 2018. The elbow was operated on the next day at hospital but it took 3 xrays and various visits until it was acknowledged that my shoulder was also broken - although this was a separate issue that has no reflection on Mr Polyzois as he was not involved with this at all. The previous upper limb specialist I saw before meeting Mr Polyzois did not treat me or the shoulder correctly BUT as soon as I met with Mr Polyzois, he immediately acknowledged and addressed the issues. He provided me with reassurance, immediate action, explained what needed to be done in the short and long term future. Throughout the entire process, before, during and after the operation, Mr Polyzois has been incredibly profession, understanding, clearly communicated with no nonsense and clear intentions. The results of the surgery itself have superseded my already high expectations. The healing process has been speedy and everything from the tissues, muscles and nerves are all repairing quickly and feel good. The most impressive part is the scar. It is barely visible and even straight after the procedure it was minimal. The type of incision is referred to as a 'bra-strap' incision (sabre cut for the boys :D). You can barely see the scar and it is smooth and flat and incredibly thin! So, all in all, I have received a first class, 10/10 experience in dealing with Mr Polyzois. I highly recommend him, as a doctor, adviser, surgeon and person!
