I fractured and chipped my humerus last year and attended Woking hospital and after physiotherapy etc .was still in a certain amount of pain. After an M.R.I. scan it was discovered that I had damaged my tendons and muscles. I attended Mr. Polyzois clinic at St Peter's hospital Chertsey, and to Ashford hospital for my Rotator Cuff Repair surgery. Throughout this time I have received excellent care by very caring professional people . I even enjoyed the hospital food at Ashford hospital. I would like to thank Mr Polyzois in particular for fixing my shoulder. He was always professional, explaining everything in terms that I could understand. His manner was always very pleasant and positive which gave me great confidence in him. I am attending Woking hospital for physio. and being looked after by Lukas who is new to N. H. S.. and is very good. Thank you to everyone for all your brilliant support.

After suffering severe pain for many years, due to multiple dislocations of Left shoulder, I was referred to Mr Polyzois. After various options to ease the problem it came down to a full shoulder replacement. After talking about the pros and cons of the operation I decided to go ahead. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Since the procedure I have been pain free, and apart from a slight reuction in range of movement I have no further pain or problems. An exellent surgeon and a great pleasre to talk to.

I attended Mr.Polyzois's clinic because of severe and constant pain to my elbow and forearm. He explained the possible causes in a way that was very easy to understand. Explained diagnostic tests and possible treatment options giving me the option to decide how I would like to proceed. The option of PRP injections instead of steroids was my preferred choice after he explained the mechanics of how it worked and that it involved using your own blood and no drugs, to me a much better choice as it would help to alleviate the 'tennis and golf elbow' problem I had and not just mask it. This was explained very well by him. The PRP injections took around 15 minutes in total and I was very happy with the result as within just 2 weeks the pain level had subsided greatly and I could feel improvements in my range of motion also. I would fully recommend Mr.Polyzois for anyone looking for an orthopaedic specialist.

Unfortunately a traumatic fall on holiday where I lost my footing pulling my shoulder away and back from my body causing the injury’s to myself I was referred to a colleague of Mr Polyzois who was unable to help but recommend him as a specialist in his field. As soon as I meet Mr Polyzois he put my mind at rest and helped guide me through the whole process. From first consultation, operation, and then after care, I always felt happy in his confidence and ability. He is clearly very skilled at what he does, and with physio and a daily routine of small exercises it has been possible to have full use of my shoulder back. I could not recommend him and his team enough.

My husband had a ladder collapse under him which caused the ball of his humorous to shatter.Mr Polyzois was assigned as his surgeon, He very clearly explained how the shoulder would be rebuilt by him. He always listened and treated us as intelligent people answering all our questions. The operation was cancelled twice due to unforeseen circumstances within th hospital. A compromised piece of equipment for one operation and an emergency taking priority the second time. It was though worth the wait . The operation when finally done some 2 months after the accident went very well. Mr Polyzios follow up care is excellent.
