I had a minimally invasive right hip replacement in November 2021, prior to this I was experiencing a lot of pain, my life had narrowed down due to being unable to walk any distance at all and work was increasingly difficult and painful, plus just getting dressed or washing was very difficult. Mr Apthorp was extremely capable, efficient and kind and I was put at ease straight away, his PA was also very helpful and supportive, answering all my additional queries. I was up almost straight away after surgery and doing stairs the following day. I have been very impressed with the results and nearly two months later am virtually pain free, able to dress and wash easily and feel it is a minor 'miracle'. I am looking forward to the summer at my allotment and walking distances and am already back doing Tai Chi. I feel very lucky to have been recommended to Mr Apthorp.
