I was treated by Mr Atkinson for my Bunyan’s. He was a very informative professor, helped me understand what the procedure would entail. The after care which was given was exceptional and never left thinking that I have missed asking a question when I left. If I had an issue once at home, a call away and I would have my a answer. Would recommend Mr Atkinson. Professional and caring. Thank you very much. Androulla Agathocleous

Mr. Atkinson helped guide me through the difficult decision of getting a full hip replacement. He has a unique gift as a great listener and he was very patient in helping me to eventually arrive at making this life changing decision. I most appreciated his calm demeanor and his ability to blend a very professional approach and then simultaneously make it comfortable. His record of success coupled with his friendly nature make him someone I would easily recommend to others.

I have been working with Mr. Atkinson for almost 5 years now. I first work with him as a scrub nurse at BMI Cavell Hospital and now I assist him with his procedures at London Bridge. As a colleague, who has been a part of his surgical team in various roles, I have witnessed how he has been with his staff in the different theatres. He is the type of surgeon who, as a colleague takes time to know his team, talks to them and calls them by their first name. I can still remember on my first day on his list, with his loud, chatty voice he started asking me questions, saying words in my dialect, then started sharing stories and jokes as we go along with the heavy list (4-5 major procedures in a day). This made the long day of work better and made the entire surgical team felt at ease. He also appreciates and commends a job well done by anyone in the team including the porters. To anyone who is humble enough to treat everyone in the team as valuable has my highest regard and respect. If one great surgeon can show respect to his subordinates and values them, how much more can he do to our patients who plays the most important part in our profession? Yes, I would recommend him to anyone even to a family member.

I have found Mr Atkinson to be extremely attentive and caring for two separate Surgeries performed ,each one taking time to explain what would happen before and after surgery and I would be very happy to recommend him to any patient
