I had a total right knee replacement on 22nd January. Had excellent care and treatment in the hospital. Mr Atkinson regularly visited and talked me through my recovery. I saw him after 2 weeks when my clips were removed and he remarked how well I was doing. I then saw him for my 6 week check and he discharged me. He is extremely caring and so friendly and reassuring. I am so pleased, pain free and back driving, and have returned to my activities which I was unable to do prior to the operation. It may well be that, in the future, I will have to have my other knee replaced. If so, I would want Mr Atkinson to carry out that operation also.

Dr.Atkinson did my right knee replacement in 2015 and took very good care to check after my operation and physio and after my stitches removed. i am absolutely fine since then. Then my left knee started having slight pain.He has been examine it from time to time and listening me ,and following it after the injections on it. He is following up every 6 months, which is quite appreciative.Once it gets to the stage for operation ,i will get it operated by him. Therefore i will TRUST and RECOMMEND him to others.

I had a secondary knee replacement and received first class care and treatment from Mr Atkinson and his team. He explained everything clearly and fully with a caring manner and completely put me at ease. I would fully recommend this specialist.
