Mr Atkinson offered the best advice regarding what type of surgery I was to have. He was professional and caring throughout all consultations. He was also transparent and honest in explaining what would happen regarding the actual procedure. He made sure I was fully aware that the surgery would be painful. What impressed me was that he ensured his follow up after surgery was on the evening of the day the surgery took place and he was back to see me the next day (a Sunday) to check on everything e.g. the level of pain I was experiencing, how I was recuperating generally etc. In fact I saw him everyday whilst an inpatient. A superb surgeon who cares, is professional and at the same time down to earth and friendly towards his patients. Thank you for making my pain disappear. Thank for the great treatment and after care.
