My experience with Dr Banerjee has been entirely positive. After every appointment I left feeling calmer and so much more reassured. Very clear explanations of everything and he have clear answers to all of my questions. I felt completely safe in his hands.
This surgery and the news leading up to it has been a challenging time for my family and I and I truly can’t thank Dr Banerjee enough for making a difficult situation easier.

I had a preventative mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with implants in Oct 2021. My Banerjee was great to deal with, he spent time going through all my options, and gave me space to ask questions during my initial consultation which really gave me confidence in my decision to proceed with the surgery.
The entire team at The Rose Centre (breast team) at St George's were great throughout my time before, during and after surgery. The nurses in the dressings clinic were so so so lovely, and really supportive during the weeks after surgery.
I'm very happy with the result of the surgery, and my new boobs look great!
*I would say though, that the wider hospital was a somewhat chaotic mess, and I had a pretty poor inpatient experience. I was placed on a general ward, were staff didn't have any experience dealing with my surgery, which was quite stressful. So I would make sure to ask about what ward you will be on after surgery, and what your post surgery care plan is.

I'd highly recommend Dr. Banerjee. He explained everything very clearly with my diagnosis and made me feel comfortable. He is an excellent surgeon and I'm very pleased with the recovery I'm making.

I went to see Mr Banerjee with a lump on my breast, which was a sebaceous cyst. He was very reassuring and kind throughout the whole process. Felt I was in great hands from the beginning.

I am a Senior Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based at St George's Hospital, London since 2004 - specialising in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and Cosmetic Breast procedures. I have been awarded the Royal College of Surgeons Certification in Cosmetic Breast Surgery. I see patients with any breast related complaints in several One Stop Breast clinics in my NHS as well as Private Practice in Wimbledon & Surrey. I specialise in the management of Breast Cancer, keeping the best cosmetic outcome in focus, whilst removing the tumour. I perform immediate or delayed breast reconstruction, including single stage direct to implant pre-pectoral reconstruction. I regularly review and audit my practice and present my results at national and international meetings & conferences. I work alongside London's leading plastic surgeons to offer my patients the full range of reconstructive options such as DIEP (tummy) or TMG (inner thigh) tissue flaps.
