I’ve had a few operations done over the years and don’t remember meeting any of the surgeons both before and after surgery, including seeing them at follow up appointments. I can’t think of anything that Dr Makki would need to improve on. He takes his time to explain things without the patient needing to ask, and listens to what you have to say too. He also makes sure you’re satisfied with the care given leaving you the opportunity to get in touch with himself or the team if there are any concerns outside of your appointment. I found him to be very friendly, reassuring and informative and would definitely recommend Dr Makki to others.

I believe what patients want more than anything else apart from feeling better is to be listened to, have their worries taken seriously and to have things clearly explained in language that they can understand. Mr Makki manages all three exceptionally well. Mr Makki treats the person not just the condition, which in my experience hasn't always been the case. He has performed two procedures on my shouders and I am delighted with the results, which compare very favourably to the same procedure performed by another surgeon.

Surgery for Dupuytrens contracture right hand was a huge success and I am overjoyed that I can now do things that were restricted before .. even being able to wear a glove again is great. The care I received was second to none and Mr Makki took the time to explain the procedure in detail which was very informative and interesting.
