I’d like to express my thanks and gratitude to Dr Makki for everything he has done whilst I was under his care and it was a pleasure to have met him. He is the nicest, sincere, caring, and easy to converse with consultant that I saw and met with as well as very talented & experienced in his profession. I was very fortunate to have had Dr Makki as my consultant and surgeon. After exploring other options, Dr Makki gave me the confidence and trust to go for tennis elbow surgery 2019. He took the time to explain to me the procedure, explained the risks, drew diagrams and discussed the after care followed by rehabilitation process which helped put any of my doubts and worries at ease. After my surgery Dr Makki talked to me, and assured me that all went well and he was happy with the procedure. At my first after recovery appointment he checked to see how my arm was healing, and I continued with his advice. Due to covid-19 my follow up appointments where only by telephone with Dr Makki and with physiotherapist, Simi Patel with video links. He kept up to date with how I was doing with my progress and physiotherapy and explained the biological side of the healing process. This gave me additional reassurance and I persevered on with my rehabilitation which was the toughest due to dealing with covid-19 restrictions. I finally met face to face Dr Makki in September 2021 and he provided me with good news. I am now pain free and going back to my activities, feeling a sense of a big achievement and back to myself mentally and physically. There are not enough words to say many thanks to all the NHS care team including Dr Makki teams.
