I was first referred to Mr Makki for tendonitis in my shoulder. He was very professional, understanding of my condition and gave me a steroid injection for the pain. This didn’t work the first time however he asked to see me 6 weeks later. In the meantime I had a fall and had X-rays at Watford General hospital who fount no issues but gave me a wrist support but sent my X-ray to St Albans. Mr Makki’s secretary called me and asked me to come in to see Mr Makki. At the time he examined my hand which was a bit better and he explained exactly why he had called me and wanted to see me 6 weeks later. I told him that my shoulder was really very painful. He immediately looked up the notes and X-rays and gave me another injection in a different place which has taken away the burning pain I have suffered for almost 3 years. He is my star! He has now given me an injection intro my painful hand.for which I an so grateful. I wish more doctors would listen.
