Cannot recommend Mr Asif Parkar enough. The patience and understanding of this gentleman knows no bounds. I was treated with respect at all times and I was told everything to be done and why at each stage of my procedure. He has perfect bedside manners and I would use his services if I should ever need my other knee replacement done

Absolutely brilliant - Part 2 Several weeks ago, I wrote a feedback called Absolutely Brilliant about my right knee replacement, which was performed by Mr Asif Parkar on 22/7/23. In that feedback, I outlined how the Right Total Knee Replacement and Patella Resurfacing were successful and how I was preparing for the same operation on the left knee. Well, that operation occurred on 3/6/2024 (Left Total Knee Replacement and Patella Resurfacing). Again it has been really successful. I remember the words of Mr Asif Parkar (last year) and again this year: I’ve done my part (50%), and the procedure had no complications; you have to do your part now (the other 50%) to get the knee moving to your satisfaction and required mobility” After discharge from the hospital, I implemented the physiotherapist's instructions for exercise routines, icing, etc. Within a week, I was walking unaided. I am now four weeks on from the operation and can walk the dog and walk up and down stairs (gingerly) with a fairly normal gait. I am able to drive because there is sufficient bend in the knee to change gears (which requires more ankle movement than knee bend). I am very pleased with the outcome of both procedures and would be very happy to discuss and recommend Mr Asif Parkar to any other patient requiring orthopaedic surgery and treatment

Mr Parkar did my knee replacement surgery 2 months ago. In my opinion he is a consummate professional. He is highly skilled and I couldn't have asked for more care or attention to detail. On my final consultation I found him insightful as how I felt at my current stage of recovery, I am extremely pleased that he was the consultant who performed my operation.

Mr Parkar is a pleasant, caring and sympathetic man and an excellent surgeon. I’ve had 2 successful hip operations performed by Mr Parkar and have been very happy with the results.

I have had both my hips replaced by Mr Parkar and was very happy with the success of the first hip and even happier after my 2nd hip was done 8 months later. Mr Parkar has given me a normal life back. Mr Parkar is a very nice person, he is calm and patient. I trust his judgement completely. I don't think either operation was entirely straightforward but the result is excellent! I would certainly recommend Mr Parkar.
