Experience of care before, during and after my knee arthroscopy was absolutely phenomenal by Mr Parkar. I was given clear and honest information and was always happy to answer any questions I had. I am very delighted with the outcome of my operation which has made a huge impact on my life already. I would highly recommend Mr Parkar to my family and colleagues and any other future patients. 10/10 consultant.

Mr Parkar was my consultant for ACL Reconstruction. I would 100% recommend him and trust him. Due to being NHS it took a while to get there in relation to the referral and a number of hurdles to first jump through with a 6 month delay prior and affected my job which had a physical aspect to it and not being able to carry out my job in full and causing my full return to work to be delayed. Mr Parkar understood this, my needs and frustrations and helped to ensure no further delays occured by getting scans done quickly and the further process was as expedited as possible within the agreed NHS limits - this was very much appreciated. Following this I was given different options to consider around whether to have surgery or not and the time to make my decision. Due to work I chose to have the operation. The day of the operation Mr Parkar explained everything fully to me as well as different possible outcomes. The surgery was a success and I am in the process of my 9 month long recovery which is reported to be going well and in the right direction. I would happily have Mr Parkar again (but hopefully wont need him)

I came to Dr Parkar with after injuring my knee during football. He was diligent when examining my knee and once the MRI results confirmed an ACL rupture, he sat with me and discussed my options. After I decided to go ahead with the surgery, he explained all the risks as well as the benefits but reassured me the surgery would help me play football again. Dr Parkar advised me of the benefits the ‘Macintosh’ procedure would have on my knee. I then agreed to do this whilst having the ‘all inside ACL reconstruction’ done too. The surgery itself went very well and only after a few weeks I was able to walk comfortably without crutches. My leg is now strong enough to go through more rigorous physio exercises. Overall I am very happy with the recovery and the whole experience with Dr Parkar. A final shoutout to Sarah (his secretary) too who was always contactable and helped with arranging appointments etc Thank you!
