I was very fortunate to be referred to Mr Parkar regarding my hip replacement surgery as he is a brilliant surgeon. I had been in constant pain for about 18 months before I had my consultation. He explained in great detail the procedure he would carry out and answered all the questions I had in a way that I could understand which reassured me. On the day of the operation he talked me through the procedure again and also asked if I had any questions or worries which made me feel confident in him carrying out the operation. Straight after the operation 8 weeks ago and since then I have been pain free and now have a very good quality of life. During the past 8 weeks I have been able to make contact with him through his secretary Sarah with any questions I had. She was very helpful and would get back to me quickly as Mr Parkar would respond on the same day. On my last follow up appointment I was shown the x-rays taken both before and after the operation explaining the procedure that was carried out. Although I have been discharged Mr Parkar said I could make contact with his secretary if I had any concerns. I would recommend anyone to Mr Parkar and his team for surgery as I can’t thank him enough for all that he has done for me.

Seamless service throughout. No long wait in the Reception. Sent. for Xrays and seen immediately after. Treated with dignity and respect. History taken and shown old and new xrays. Explained clearly what the problem is and how it can be resolved. Given two choices of treatment and was given the one I opted for immediately after. Explained to me how important it is to keep weight off for my own benefit. Given the option to come back or call my GP if the problem persisted! In no time I left a very happy and satisfied patient. It was like walking into private rooms when it was NHS!! Keep it up Sir.

My first client appointment with Mr Parkar ,he listened to everything I said regarding my pain and mobility with my hip and knee,he explained what surgery I should have. Mr parkar put my mind at ease on the day of my surgery, and I felt very reassured. I was walking without aid and any pain 2 weeks after surgery . Mr parkar is a very friendly and understanding gentleman, and I am so lucky to have him as my consultant. A gentleman with a great personality.

Mr Asif Parkar was a great doctor, particularly with listening to your needs. I had MPFL reconstruction for patella dislocation and he was the first doctor that listened to me and gave me the surgery I required. He was professional and attentive, always making sure you understand everything. I definitely recommend this doctor.
