Mr Parker has a calming aura about him when discussing your problems and how he can help with treatment. I met him twice before my surgery and he was obviously worried about the way my femur had been repaired in the 1960s after a motorcycle crash. He explained in great detail what he needed to do as the femur was out of line since 1966. He dictated a letter while I was there to his secretary so I knew his intentions. He spoke to me briefly when I woke up after surgery and again 2 days later when I returned to the ward. He said as he prepared to ream out my femur as he wouldn’t be able to insert the new part into my femur which had become solid due to the fracture healing and with broken metalwork in there it started to bleed heavily so he asked for blood to be transfused into me while he was fitting the new parts in. I spoke with him at my 6 week appointment and he recalled all the went on showing me the X-Rays and graphics from the robot that he had used. I felt reassured that he had achieved what I thought could not happen, I can walk without a pronounced limp for the first time in 58 years.

Mr Parker carried out for me a complete knee replacement at the Spire Brentwood, where I have been transferred by the NHS. From day one I felt very confident with Mr Parker’s assessment of my situation, and explained how not only my operation would work, also explained fully what would happen after, with regards to physiotherapy. He also took time out to call into see me before I returned home. I had a follow up consultation on the 8th July, to where he also advised how to move forward with the physiotherapy . Mr Parker thank you for your help and support, and giving me the opportunity to walk again . I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Parker. Sharron Appleyard.

Mr Parkar had done my right knee ACL reconstruction surgery. Meeting him before the surgery at appointments, Mr Parkar was very compassionate and receptive to my concerns and questions. His explanations of the procedures, pros and cons were all explained to me in a way that I could understand. The surgery he did was very successful and the after care he provided was exceptional. I would highly recommend Mr Parkar to anyone. He puts his patients first and as a medical student, he is a leading example of what a great Dr should be like.

Explained to Dr Parker and he listened to me , gave his advise on treatment . Once the treatment had been given the issue was reduced considerably.
