Mr Parker puts one at ease, gives plenty of time discussing one’s concerns. Very likable man. I’ve had great care by him, with excellent results.

I recently had a total knee replacement of my right knee having had the left one replaced by Mr Parkar late 2022. Mr Parkar gave me full confidence for the recent surgery, explained everything in great depth making sure I fully understood what the operation entailed. We also discussed important exercises to regain strength in the operated knee. I could not have wished for a better consultant who listened to my questions and gave thorough answers, looked at X-rays together and showed where my problem was. Prior to leaving hospital he came to see how I was progressing (12hours after surgery). A very caring consultant who certainly looks after his patients; had a sense of humour which made me feel at ease and I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Parkar for performing knee surgery. Top surgeon! … Thank you.

First off, I should note that both my husband and I are physicians. So we’re picky. We know what the jargon means and what constitutes terrific care. We both love Mr. Parkar. Not only is he thorough, he is a very good listener, which is incredibly valuable in a surgeon. You don’t want someone who can’t listen. Mr. Parkar asks a question and then he listens very intently to what you’re saying. He never makes you as if anything you’ve said is irrelevant. He wants to know how you feel, what the time course of your problem has been, and what you have noticed. These are incredibly valuable skills for any physician or surgeon. You want someone who will pay attention to and not rush you at all. What is more, Mr. Parkar is willing to go the extra mile. He will tell you what he can and cannot do and then he follows through with whatever he’s promised to do. He also has excellent judgment when it comes to his staff; Ms. Hill, his secretary, is one of the nicest, most genial people I’ve come across who is just as willing to help and listen as Mr. Parkar. I cannot recommend Mr. Parkar highly enough—and as a physician, I know what I’m talking about.
