At my first appointment with Mr Parkar, he explained everything that would happen in my total right knee replacement operation. He was very understanding and caring and answered all questions fully, even showing me what would happen on a small model. During the operation, however, it was discovered that my patella was displaced and so needed ligaments to be cut to allow improvement of the patellar tracking. This meant the operation took a lot longer than anticipated. Once again, Mr Parker came to see me post op and explained all that had happened in detail. I have total faith and trust in Mr Parkar and will be seeing him again for my left knee replacement as soon as I am fit enough.
