My husband is 68 years and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Bowel Cancer. He was treated by Mr Ashish Gupta who explained the procedure to us in detail and answered all our queries patiently. My husband was operated within 3 weeks from his diagnoses. All our appointments were booked by his staff with ample information sent to us in the post regarding the procedures. Mr Gupta managed a keyhole surgery inspite of all the challenges he faced when he started the surgery. It was a complex case and took much longer for Mr Gupta to complete the surgery due to excess fat around the organs. Any other surgeon would have opted for an open surgery which would have been less challenging. Due to Mr Gupta's great skill and expertise my husband has made a full recovery. He was discharged just after 4 days from hospital. We met again with Mr Gupta after 4 weeks where he gave us the good news of my husband being Cancer free but suggested Chemo as a precaution. I can't thank Mr Gupta and his team enough. He is an outstanding doctor and very down to earth and humble. I would highly recommend him to other people going through similar circumstances. I earnestly wish him well so he can continue to help others get well and live long, happy lives. Thankyou ever so much Mr Gupta.

Dr. Gupta recently performed for me an exploratory colonoscopy and endoscopy. He is highly skilled, clearly very experienced and thorough. He made me feel at complete ease, alleviating all my concerns and was very reassuring explaining everything clearly and patiently. He has an excellent team supporting him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, a very safe pair of hands and indeed a gentleman!

Dr Ashish Gupta is an absolutely fantastic surgeon, and I recommend him very highly. He undertook surgery to remove my 83-year old mother's colon cancer, managing to undertake the entire surgery using a keyhole procedure, so that she had minimal discomfort and a really quick recovery. Dr Gupta was at all times extremely kind and understanding, and is supported by excellent Macmillan cancer nurses, Paige and Charlotte. My mum was only diagnosed with cancer in August, surgery took place in September, and she had recovered fully by October - Dr Gupta and the NHS is just fantastic!
