He exuded great confidence which made me feel at ease and relaxed . All my questions and worries over the inquinal hernia were answered clearly and concisely. The operation went very smoothly and I believe his skill has helped in my rehabilitation quicker than expected . I fully recommend this surgeon to anyone.

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in January and had my surgery in February. When I first met Mr Gupta, he put my mind at ease explaining the procedure and talking through my diagnosis. He takes his time, he doesn’t rush and is happy to talk through any of your concerns. I found him extremely kind and understanding at a worrying time. The procedure itself was a success, there was a chance I’d have to have a stoma or open surgery but when I woke, he managed to do key hole and no stoma! I was so relieved. Just before the surgery, he spoke to me again and reassured me that I’d be ok. It was such a nice thing for him to say / do and meant the world to me. I’ve met him since to discuss the next steps and he was very positive about my recovery and again took the time to explain everything and reassure me. He’s just an incredibly kind man and I am very lucky he looked after me so well. He makes you feel taken care of , that you’re not just another patient. I am forever grateful to him and his wonderful team.

I was admitted thru A&E because of an unbearable severe tummy pain which was turned out to be bowel cancer. I was operated by Mr Gupta following his diagnoses. The operation was very successful with no infection and complication! I have now recovered from the operation. I cannot praise Mr Gupta enough for his fantastic expertise and surgical skills. Also, I could instantaneously feel his kind and care in his explanation, listening and answering my questions, which gave me reassurance to go ahead with the treatment. Mr Gupta have saved my life. Myself and my family are deeply grateful to him and his team at St Helier Hospital. I would have no hesitance in recommending Mr Gupta to other people going through similar circumstances like mine. I was suffering from a chronic posterior anal fissure for many months. I finally decided to do something about and I saut out Dr. Gupta as he had many qualifications and loads of positive reviews. Dr Gupta first prescribed treatment with topical ointments and followed by Botulinum injection. This unfortunately was not successful. On 06 December 2021 Dr Gupta performed a Lateral Sphincterotomy. This surgery was very successful! Truly the pain I was in had subsidised. It was the difference between night and day really. I could not Recommend Dr. Gupta enough!

Laparoscopic Appendectomy - Great care. Took the time to discuss the procedure in detail, answered my questions clearly and gave me a lot of confidence going into the procedure.
