I had large bunions and it was at the stage where it was uncomfortable wearing normal shoes so I opted to have bunion surgery on both feet, one after the other. The whole experience from start to finish with Dr Amin was better than I ever could have expected. He explained the procedure and recovery honestly and in detail and was also very transparent re the risks. I am very active (yoga/pilates/gym) and a very keen runner and one concern was returning to running post surgery. Following both feet it took approx 8 weeks before I was running again. The recovery was fairly painless and I found it very easy. Now quite a long time since surgery (just under 2 years) and I am so happy i decided to go ahead. I walk around 8 miles a day, I run, I do yoga and the scars are barely noticeable. I would recommend Dr Amit to anyone and encourage you to consider this surgery if your feet cause you pain or discomfort. Liza
