dr adam joiner was really lovely to speak to. He put me at ease and listened to what I had to say. I was so nervous but needn't have been! Now after years of struggling and wondering I've been diagnosed with adhd and its such a weight off my shoulders. I recommend this doctor to anyone!

I've had an excellent experience with Dr Joiner and Psychiatry-UK! I would recommend Dr Joiner with 100% confidence, he has offered great support and care constantly throughout my ADHD treatment and I cannot thank him enough for the improvements I have made as a result of this. Dr Joiner was exceptional with the understanding and professionalism he showed during the treatment, being easy and pleasant to talk to throughout the process while offering detailed advice. I liked how the decisions were made by myself on treatment, where he offered his opinions and knowledge as optional guidance and respected my decisions. If I had any questions or concerns he was always happy to help and I hardly had to wait for a reply, which was brilliant in such a worrying period. I have completed the initial treatment with Psychiatry UK and my GP has started prescribing for the long term, just over a month after my diagnosis. Thank you!

Very approachable, caring and professional psychiatrist. Proactively asked for my input on different treatment options - actually before even suggesting anything, asked what I think we should do, which was very refreshing! This also gave me a lot of confidence in the treatment plan we agreed on. I was impressed by the assessment letter which proved he's very attentive and thorough. Highly recommended!

Dr Joiner put me at ease immediately and was friendly throughout our consultation. He was thorough, detailed and kept the session on track when my responses strayed into less useful territory. At the end of our session I received all the information I needed as well as a followup email. I couldn't be more pleased with Dr Joiner and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I found Dr Joiner friendly and very easy to talk to. He clearly understood the problems I was having, and worked methodically towards a diagnosis that I hope will help me address my difficulties and improve my quality of life. I'm definitely glad I took this route for assessment instead of waiting 12+ months on the local NHS list!
