Was very apprehensive arriving at unit, due to previous traumatic experience, so much so that BP was very elevated. Doctor took his time explaining the procedure and put me at ease by assuring me of adequate sedation. Afterwards confirmed in a caring and considerate manner that procedure had been a success. Would further add that all nurses and staff in the unit are a credit to the hospital and their profession.

After a bad experience the week before, today made me feel so at ease, the doctor was amazing explaining everything and listening to my needs, felt totally relaxed if there is a good experience of a endoscopy it was today.

Very friendly, explained everything I needed to know, answered all my questions making me to understand the whole procedure and he has done his best to make me feel safe and confortable. I was so afraid of this procedure but with his professionalism and care he made me fell very good and nothing could have been done better. Thank you much again for everything

Made me feel at ease when I was worried before procedure. Listen to my concerns and explained my risk and outlined exactly what would happen during the process which made me feel a lot calmer. Conducted himself in a professional manner and had time to listen and explain. Post procedure advised that it had gone well and outlined what he had done. Pleasure to deal with credit to your department and the NHS as a whole. Thank you for your skill and being personable it means a lot to a nervous patient.
