I was referred to Dr Naqvi for a gastroscopy at the Ipswich Diagnostic Centre and found him and the nurses working with him very kind and understanding. After the procedure I asked to speak to the doctor and he was very helpful with the advice he gave me. A very caring approach.

Dr. Naqvi was very professional in the gastroscopy I underwent at Braintree Freport hospital. I was told what would happen, given the opportunity to ask questions and the procedure was explained to me throughout. Dr. Navqi performed an effective and quick assesment and quickly identified the major problem that he communicated to me (hiatus hernia). My only (very small) criticism is that he did not give me more detail of the issue or what the findings meant - this may be because the process relies on a nurse communicating this information to the patient, but it would be helpful to have the clinician very briefly state what this means.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the clinicians aren't expected to carry out the procedure and also carry out a consultation after the procedure. Hence the talking is left for the discharging nurse to do. I do however leave advice for my patients on the discharge letter and if you follow the advice, your symptoms will surely improve.

I was seen by dr naqvi for an endoscopy. He and his team put me at ease straight away as I was nervous about the procedure. The only discomfort I felt was due to the numbing spray, once this was administered, I felt nothing much at all. I would recommend dr naqvi.
