The standard of care given in the endoscopy unit at Braintree Community Hospital was excellent. All the nursing staff, without exception, who dealt with me took their time to talk to me, explain what was going to happen and listen to any concerns I had. They were professional but kept a warm, caring attitude.
Dr Naqvi explained clearly what he would be doing, listening and answering any concerns that I had. He was very professional but kept a caring and reassuring approach with me which helped to keep me relaxed. He explained all what he was doing during the procedure.
I felt very safe with Dr Naqvi and his team, with the care and treatment being of a very high and excellent standard.

Dr Tipu Navqi has been removing several moles from my back and neck. He has been excellent on the several visits to the surgery. He is very professional and has a calm and caring manner about him. He always makes me feel at ease before and during the treatment. He has removed several moles now and every scar is minimal and very neat. I would highly recommend Dr Naqvi.

I had a trans nasal gastroscope on friday 2nd February at the endoscopy diagnostic centre which is adjacent to Ravenswood Health Centre. All the staff there were extremely helpful and reassuring. Dr Naqvi performed the procedure quickly, calmly and efficiently. I chose not to have sedation and I can report that introduction of the scope via the nose means that sedation really isn't necessary. There is no gagging involved and you can leave almost immediately after it is completed.
Dr Naqvi gave me good feedback, showing me the photos he had taken and explained his findings. Thanks to all involved.

I am a Physician and an Endoscopist.
I started my career as a hospital doctor in Ireland.
I spent nearly a decade in Ireland working in General Medicine at various places including Mullingar, Portlaoise, Roscommon, Nenagh, Drogheda and Dundallk
In 2001 I moved to the UK to train and work as a General Practitioner.
My first job in the UK was in Ayreshire Scotland.
After completing my training, I was employed by Northampton Primary care trust where I was involved in training nurse practitioners and Paramedics.
I moved to Chelmsford in 2006 to join a GP partnership.
I also started working at a local community endoscopy unit.
Medicine is my passion and I always try to provide the best possible healthcare to my patients.
It gives me great pleasure and immense satisfaction when I am able to help someone and bring a smile on their face.
Beside medicine, I love spending time with my family.
I follow football very passionately and support Arsenal football club.
