Saw this Doctor at Braintree Community Hospital this morning for an endoscopy. He was calm, understanding and explained the procedure fully. Made an experience I was dreading not as bad as I anticipated.

Endoscopy procedure went extremely well. I was put at ease by both nurses and Dr Tipu Naqvi. I was anxious, but Dr reassured me by explaining exactly what was going to happen. Great service, would recommend.

Gaing for an endoscopy I was full of Trepidation getting tube down my throat. No Worries they went in through the nose. Dr Tipu explained what was going to be done put me totally at rest and I was told where and what was happening during the investigation and the results explained afterwards. If you have any worries about this procedure DONT no pain no after effects after first few hours and no need to consider sedation

I went for a Gastroscopy, and I can’t thank Dr Naqvi and all the team of nurses enough, for the kindness, care and reassurance given to me, before, during, and after the procedure.
Everything was explained thoroughly and Dr Naqvi went through the results, treatment, and lifestyle changes needed, in detail.
They were all so very kind, I wouldn’t be at all worried to have the procedure again.

I went to see Dr. Naqvi regarding a reflux problem. He recommended I have a gastroscopy to confirm his suspicion as to the cause. Within two weeks I had an appointment for the procedure which Dr. Naqvi carries out. He was very professional and explained everything he was going to do and took time to reassure me on his findings. All together a very good and efficient service. Thank you Dr. Naqvi.

I am a Physician and an Endoscopist.
I started my career as a hospital doctor in Ireland.
I spent nearly a decade in Ireland working in General Medicine at various places including Mullingar, Portlaoise, Roscommon, Nenagh, Drogheda and Dundallk
In 2001 I moved to the UK to train and work as a General Practitioner.
My first job in the UK was in Ayreshire Scotland.
After completing my training, I was employed by Northampton Primary care trust where I was involved in training nurse practitioners and Paramedics.
I moved to Chelmsford in 2006 to join a GP partnership.
I also started working at a local community endoscopy unit.
Medicine is my passion and I always try to provide the best possible healthcare to my patients.
It gives me great pleasure and immense satisfaction when I am able to help someone and bring a smile on their face.
Beside medicine, I love spending time with my family.
I follow football very passionately and support Arsenal football club.
