I have been on medication for reflux for the last 22 years, Dr Naqvi saw me 10 weeks ago and diagnosed Pepsis ulcers in my asophogas, this was as a result of taking my medication at the wrong time. Dr Naqvi was the first medical professional to realise this and advised me accordingly. Since this rectification, I have been free from discomfort and this is entirely due to his common sense and professionalism. He truly listens to his patience and he and his staff are wonderful.

Dear patient Many thanks for your feedback. I am really glad that your peptic ulcer related symptoms aren't bothering you any more. I am also pleased to know that your oesophagus is no longer troubling you as before. Best wishes.

Dr. Naqvi performed a flexible sigmoidoscopy and kept me fully informed at all stages during the procedure.

I attended Braintree Community Hospital today for a gastroscopy performed by Dr Naqvi. The whole experience was excellent. The nurse who admitted me calmed my nerves so much that I didn't have any sedation. Dr Naqvi assured me that if I couldn't cope I could have sedation at any time during the procedure. The procedure was painless and I even watched it on the screen. He was able to show me what was causing my problem I was in and out again within an hour with my notes explaining what was wrong and advice on how to move forward. If you can have nice experience at a hospital, this was definitely it. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I am certain that a lot of potentially nervous patients will find your comments very reassuring.

I had an endoscopy on 27/03/18 by Dr.Naqvi. He was polite, kind and friendly and explained the procedure to me. No-one likes this being done but I found it painless if uncomfortable, and not as scary as I had imagined. Unfortunately due to continued reflux I now have Barratts oesophagus and hence 5 biopsies were taken via forceps. It was unnerving watching another implement being put into the scope but again no pain and a good explanation of what was occurring. The nurses were really compassionate and chatted to me throughout as I was somewhat nervous, and after when I was upset at having Barratts and was tearful, the nurse was reassuring and kind, I don't think you can really ask for more. These people were professional, kind and understanding and as I will have to have repeated endoscopies now, it helps to at least know I shall be treated so kindly in what is a unnerving situation.

Thank you for the feedback. Kindly follow the advice given to you regarding staying on top of your 'acid-reflux related' symptoms. Please remember to follow the tips I wrote for you at the end of the report and hopefully you wont have any deterioration in your symptoms. Best wishes
