I am really very pleased to express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr Subash Somalanka who is my consultant Nephrologist. Being suddenly diagnosed with a kidney disease along with other complications I have been in a very uncertain state both physically and mentally. I owe the progress of my health along with my mental well-being to Dr Somalanka as it is his expert medical guidance and his understanding and empathetic and kind nature that has changed my situation into a positive recovery stage. His genuine concern towards his patient’s well-being and recovery is beyond remarkable. I am very confident of my positive progress towards my condition as I completely trust Dr Somalanka’s professional medical guidance. He is indeed a massive value to the NHS and I am so thankful that I am under his medical care.

Dr Somalanka has gone above and beyond throughout my care on dialysis since the very beginning. He is undoubtedly an exemplary medical consultant. He is compassionate, kind, friendly, as well as knowledgeable and reassuring. I have always felt that if I needed some advice or felt like something didn't feel right, he was always there to listen. I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Somalanka is a wonderful doctor, knowledgeable, sensitive, and informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident that I was receiving expert medical care. My experience with Dr. Somalanka has been excellent. He goes above and beyond to answer all my questions, is professional and polite, and friendly with a pleasant smile. I would like to express my gratitude to him for not only taking great care of my health but also for being easy to communicate with during each appointment. As a result of covid, I developed kidney complications, so I was referred to Dr. Somalanka. My understanding of where I stood and possible next steps could be attributed to his curiosity, investigative mind, and ability to connect. Sr Subash Somalanka is a very caring and compassionate dr. He is always available to cease any concerns. He is very approachable and it makes all the difference when your anxious about your condition that your dr understands your worries and talks through everything so you understand and don’t needlessly worry. He treats me as a person and not just an number or patient to rush through his door. I believe that he has genuine interest in the care and health of his patients and builds great rapport. My brother might also have pkd and I would 100% recommend him. I would always trust his advice and he is thorough in his work.
