Thank you for taking the time to give me feedback. I am sorry you felt interrogated and not completely at ease. Unfortunately we need to ensure we have all the necessary information in order to tailor your anaesthetic to the needs of your surgery and your current state of health. Similarly, we are required to share with you the process and risks involved in your anaesthesia to allow you to give informed consent. As this feedback is anonymous, and I have anaesthetised quite a few patients in the last week or two, please contact me so I can find out what aspect of our consultation made you feel uneasy.
